This tour is the most unique, complete and comprehensive Passenger Train trip to the Copper Canyon and Western Mexico available anywhere. It not only includes Mexico’s West Coast, but also is an excellent tour for first-timers traveling to Mexico. The route is primarily on four lane highways all the way to Mazatlan along Mexico’s Sea of Cortez. This tour gives you an extra bonus with five days in the “Mexican Riviera Resort” city of Mazatlan where you have plenty of time for fishing, shopping or just exploring its beautiful beaches.

After arriving at the RV park in Los Mochis on day seven, the next morning we board a first-class passenger train on the Chihuahua-Pacifico Railroad heading to The Copper Canyon. Adventure Caravans is the only company that experiences four days and three nights admiring the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” We enjoy two lovely nights at the first-class La Posada Mirador hotel with awesome views of the Canyon right from your own room. The afternoon of day three we board the train for our bonus trip to Bahuichivo where we enjoy a third night at the first-class Mision Hotel in Cerocahui. From here we visit the Urique Canyon which has the most spectacular view of all the canyons. The excitement of these four days will be the topic of your discussions with friends for years to come.
