This tour begins in the USA at Great Falls, Montana. In Hill Spring, Alberta we enjoy a Welcome to Canada Dinner and a great bus tour. Calgary has a tour of the Olympic Hall of Fame Museum and a tour of Olympic Park. Drumheller is famous for its Dinosaur Museum.
One of the highlights of this tour is a round trip deluxe railway excursion out of Stettler including entertainment and a stop in the Wild West town of Big Valley where we enjoy a lovely dinner.
In Edmonton we visit the Historical Village including lunch and spend a day at the World’s largest shopping mall which has an indoor lake. In Peace River we embark on a fantastic eight hour boat cruise which includes a steak dinner on Peace Island.
Quality time is spent at our next stops. You have many photo opportunities as we tour and explore the Northwest Territories from one end to the other. World class fishing, birding and wildlife are abundant. The incredible variety of terrain, flora and fauna makes this trip one of the most unique in North America. Highway 1 is noted as the Waterfalls Route.
Yellowknife is a natural highlight as well as the “Diamond Capital” of North America. The color and vitality of Inuvik take you by surprise. We enjoy activities and tours in Dawson City as well as Whitehorse where we see a live Vaudeville Show. In Stewart we watch bears catch salmon in the river.
